El Camino

“Today we bicycled 80 miles. Some of it was pavement, but much of it was dirt, gravel, or single track. It might have been my favorite day on the Camino so far:

We received a blessing in a small church and then road past fields and fields of waving green grass, and blue skies. Bright flowers graced the edges of the road. Dawn and twilight stretch on for hours here. It almost seems that time is paused, halted.

Here I think I would like to stay, perhaps forever, suspended in this alternative universe of pedaling.”
